there are several tracks off the new record on the Podsafe Music Network - one of the world's biggest free music sharing sites. If you're a Podcaster, you can play any of them on your show. Slim's tracks are already being played by Podcasters as far away as Boston USA! Check it out.
Safari Season (aka Jon Hunt)
www.safariseason.net - Safari Season is Jon Hunt, who has been a musical collaberator with slim in years gone by. His website says "With nods to the likes of Paul Weller, Francis Dunnery and Miles Hunt (no relation);
Jon Hunt's road-worn tales of love, life, longing and loathing combine edgy guitar with melodies that will glue themselves inside your head". Well recommended.

The Voxxwww.thevoxx.com - The Voxx are slim's drummer Claude's dirty ass rock'n'roll joint. They've just come back from a storming tour of NYC. Check 'em out live for the full effect, as they're constantly touring. And visit their myspace entry too:

Denyse Anyogu (aka Single Black Female)
Denyse approached slim when he was playing a gig with Jon (see above) a few years back to talk about collaberating. Denyse and slim then cut her record over a period of a few months, and you can buy it from this site - just go to the contacts page and send us a mail titled SBF album. It's a superior blend of roots-soul, with Denyse's unmistakable voice and personal songs to the fore, (and slim's guitar never far behind...) Denyse and slim still perform regularly live. Contact her here for more info:
Denyse1@btopenworld.comhttp://www.rockersdigest.com/ - Johan and Dave's homage to hard rock. Dave was the bass player in slim's old band Silas, and this site keeps him out of trouble nowadays. Says Dave: 'I write all the live reviews working with our photographer and website matermind Johan. We're a heavy metal site and I have attended about 475 gigs since my first in 1987.' Blimey!
www.pureartandsoul.com - this is Sharon O'Brien who has a beautiful voice - have seen her a few times in North London - she's also a painter so check out her site.
http://www.benchristophers.com/ - Ben Christophers is this intense singer-songwriter who you need to get into - often gigging and just an amazing voice and performancer.
non-artist links: (If you're doing your own thing and fighting your own battles in the music business, then you might find some of these sites of use.)
http://www.lloydich.com/ - Lloyd Lane's the web-design guru behind much of slim-music.com, he's a web wizard! You can check out some questionable pictures of slim in various states of consciousness too if that kind of thing gets you going. To see some more of his sites go to
www.netrage.co.uk
http://www.therehearsalrooms.co.uk/ - Neil & Ken's place in Bury St Edmunds - where slim did all the electric guitar recordings. Currently branching out into doing studio recording as well as rehearsal space providing. John Peel was a champion of the local scene in Bury, and supportive of the Rehearsal Rooms. Were it not for his untimely death in 2004 he would have been present at the grand opening in May 2005.
http://www.facestudios.co.uk/ - Duncan & Adam's studio down in SW6 - well worth a visit if you're looking for recording space and time, for any project, big or small. From singer-songwriters and voiceovers to full bands and mixing / mastering they can definitely help you out. Call Duncan on 07976 796756 or visit the site.
http://www.thevac.co.uk/ - these are the dudes that run a lot of acousticky / open-mike nights in London. A great place to 'test' new material in front of a religiously polite and appreciative crowd - if this kind of thing is your bag, get on to them.
http://www.precisionmastering.co.uk/ This is Ian Gager - the man to speak to for quality affordable mastering, if you make your own music.
http://www.alphaproaudio.com/ great place to stop at for cd pressing / duplication. Ask for Bob!"
